A friend sent us a link to this post from (DepressedCopywriter.com), and there's an inherent truth to this.
It's difficult to set goals for your own body when realistically you may not know your own limits;
physically, mentally & genetically.
There are so many factors that can affect your perceived results and your ambitions, but it is important to remember who is actually setting or leading you to set these goals for you.
Who Would You Listen To:
- An ad showing body + product/service.
- A cover model + blurbs about that "beach bod" or "6 pack."
- A doctor informs you that you have a form of cardiovascular disease.
"Your best body" may only last a season. Your health lasts as long as you live.
Keep on living.
"Heart disease takes the lives of far too many people in this country, depriving their families and communities of someone they love and care for—a father, a mother, a wife, a friend, a neighbor, a spouse. With more than 2 million heart attacks and strokes a year, and 800,000 deaths, just about all of us have been touched by someone who has had heart disease, heart attack, or a stroke." - Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius
